Some things I'm loving about our little 2 and a half year old:
- She loves to say "maybe"... we ask her a question and she draws it out: Maaaybe yes, Maaaaaaaybe no. It is pretty darn funny.
- when she ask for music she'll ask for: "my music" (kids music) or "daddy's music" (classical) there is no mommy's music yet but I'm guessing that will be pop/funk/R&B/etc. :)
- Cooking together - we both love it. She loves Henry, the kitchenaid. She'll clamber up the kitchen stool and say "go Henry go!" while we mix something up. We cook or bake together as much as we can!
- The way she says goodnight - we drink our juice (water), have "kiss and a hug" then she says "After nap we do crafts 'mommy, daddy and me'". I'm not sure where that started...but now she says it every night.
- We recently purchased a mini trampoline both for me to have something to use for cardio at home, and for babygirl to use for energy bursts when she is stuck in the house due to the cold. She loves "being a monkey" swinging and jumping around on it.
- Our friend Lindsey gave us a small parachute that babygirl LOVES. We hide under it together, bounce balls on it, pull her around on it...tons of fun with just one toy!
- We're starting tap dance classes for 2-4 year olds. She is really into it and love putting her dance shoes on. I think tap dance is just so perfect for this age! Let's her run around and make noise, be around other kids, move and groove to music...it's perfect!
- Whenever we put on music by justin roberts - calls him christopher robins. I keep trying to tell her Christopher Robins is from Winnie the Pooh, but she just keeps on calling him Christopher.
